THE INSPIRATION

Mistri Fazal Din

The name of WOODTEK Furniture dates back over 80 years to the middle part of the 20th Century. It was in early 1930s that a master cabinet maker of his time by the name of Mistri Fazal Din set up a furniture  workshop in Gujrat Punjab. It was the influence of Mistri Fazal Din’s  younger grandson Abdul Razzaq that changed the concern from a cabinet maker outfit to a furniture company specializing in furniture of today’s needs drawing inspiration from his grandfather.

Relying mainly on its own manufacturing source WOODTEK grew and became successful. A fully equipped factory to meet the growing demand was set up in a close suburb of Islamabad in 1995 with its famous showroom in one of the biggest commercial centers, the blue area.  With the added facilities of both sites the company began to increase its range of in-house designed and made contemporary furniture. Today the company’s range of household and office furniture has been significantly developed to undertake larger workloads and incorporate the decorative reproductions of all kinds of modern furniture with the quality WOODTEK is known for.
